Designated as an official Economic Development Project by the City of Ennis
Approved matching funds for a TXDOT 90/10 grant, not to exceed $1 million
Project scope includes:
- Rehabilitation and widening of the runway to 60’ x 4,011’to meet current standards
- Complete rehabilitation and lengthening of the adjacent taxiway
- Rehabilitation of all crossovers
- Rehabilitation of the adjacent apron
- Complete replacement of the airport lighting system with state-of-the-art LED lighting
