If you have ideas on how Ennis Main Street can revitalize our downtown you should join us. The Ennis Main Street Program is divided into a four point approach model/committees. These committees are designed in such a way as to provide an avenue for everyone to get involved utilizing their talents and passions.
Here is how the committees are organized and a brief description of their mission.
Organization – Mission: To communicate the Main Street Program. Establish partnerships with other organizations who share our goals. Recruit volunteers and support the overall program when possible.
Economic Restructuring – Mission: Working with building/business owners on how they can take advantage of the Historic Preservation and Façade Improvement grants through Main Street but also inform the business owners about the Tax Credits that are available. Come up with innovative ideas to generate economic activity downtown.
Promotion – Mission: To help promote festivals, heritage celebrations, retail based promotions through image building, social media, traditional media and product development.
Design – Mission: To make sure downtown is always in TIP-TOP shape. Help with design ordinances and design standards.
